Master Mason Degree
The Brothers of Plymouth Lodge will be conferring the Master Mason Degree beginning at 5:00 on Wednesday May 30th at Plymouth Lodge # 160.
Please come and assist and support our Brothers, as we Raise new Master Masons.
St.Johns Bible
This year at Grand Lodge, we were privileged to have the St. Johns Bible. This is the Bible that George Washington took his presidential oath.
A true piece of American and Masonic history.
Lodge Geocache
For those of you that don't know I have hidden a geocache on our property. I was hoping to promote some interest in Lodge and maybe get one of you out and about to learn of this fun hobby. Masons were the first geocachers you know. They hid stuff and no one knew where it was but someone who had the right clues.
The Gavel
On April 4th, 12 brothers & I traveled to Wayzata lodge and enjoyed a good meeting with a very interesting LEO presentation about a Mason who helped save the town of Northfield from Jesse James. Before leaving we managed to capture their gavel, we only needed 5 brothers but showed up in force. Now the sad part is Wayzata came last night to get it back.

Thank you to everyone for their congratulations. We are at home enjoying our daughter. Mother and daughter are doing fine and are looking forward to coming to McLodge some time soon.
3 New Entered Apprentice's
Plymouth Lodge had a good night by initiating 3 new Brothers. My hats off to all who made this a special night for the initiates. Well my hat was already off as Matt wore it with prominence and distinction as presiding Master, he did a fantastic job as Master as well as our other officers who did exemplary work to give these new Brothers a peak into masonry.
The night the lights went out in Crystal
We called the stated meeting to order and shortly there after the power went out and we were in the dark. Luckily we had the 3 great lights to guide us and there was a small emergency light in the lodge room and brothers offered cell phones with lights so the secretary & I so we could keep the meeting rolling.
Polar Plunge for Special Olympics
On Saturday March 3rd I was proud to participate in the 2012 Polar Plunge for the Special Olympics. I was inspired to jump after our Jr. Deacon Brad Pohlman and our Jr. Warden Matt Lachner volunteered to represent Plymouth Lodge. The day was certainly polar with temps in the twenty's and light snow coming down.

I have stumbled across a podcast that I am finding very informative, interesting and enlightening.
It is called, "Whence Came You?"
It can be found in your iTunes store or via their website.

Masonic funeral
From time to time I am asked why our Lodge does funerals for some brothers and not for others.
Good question.
Remember that the Masonic Lodge is not a religion, and we inform a new brother of that on his first admission to the lodge.
